3D porn is erotic art that is “rendered” in a program that allows you to build artwork using 3d models. Think about photographing a human woman. You can turn her around and view her from all directions. She occupies a volume of space, rather than a 2d-cut out type image.
Same way with 3D artwork. We use 3D models and move them around in 3D space (a room, or a setting). Then you render them, which takes all the information from the “scene” (lighting, textures, objects) and creates a picture of them.
This can take anywhere from 30 seconds to 15+ minutes, depending upon how complicated the image is, and how large it is. Most of the images we create are more in the 10 – 15 minutes each range then the 30 second range. We go for quality vs quantity.
